TEAC HA-501不仅采用好音质保证的A类线路设计，内部以双单声道（Dual Mono）组成的平衡架构更是耳放产品中少见的设计，不仅可减少内部零件的交互干扰，更可大幅增加音场再生与左右声道的分离度。并使用了Muses 8920的OP放大器。

除此之外，HA-501共有五段可调式阻尼设计，包括at32、at64、at120、at300，以及at600欧姆。内部也以一颗大型的环形变压器给予最纯净的电源供应。整机采用高强度的全金属机箱，两侧侧板则是铝材。
