关于最新的N驱动不支持1440X900的答复
提问：
  OS System: Windows XP SP2
  mainboard: ASUS P5W DH Deluxe
  CPU:   Intel X6800 @ 2.93GHz
  Memory: ADATA 1G DDR2 800  X4
  Power:  Antec TruePower Trio TP3-650
  Display Card : LeadTek PX8800GTX TDH
  Monitor: Samsung 931BW（1440X900）

When I use Driver 96.98 in LeadTek Disc,everything is OK,It can use 1440X900 32Bit,and monitor also detect 1440X900,but when I use Driver 97.28 down form LeadTek web site,or use Driver 97.44 and 97.92 down form Nvidia web site,the Display card can be set 1440X900 32bit,but the monitor detect 1280X1024,can not be changed,whatever the Display card set.
above problem I use DVI-D connection,when I use VGA D-Sub,all drivers work well.

I understand from your email that you have a Geforce 8800 GTX card and when trying to set the display to 1440x900, the monitor only detects 1280x1024.

I am sorry to inform that there are no work around for this issue. I suggest that you conitinue using the 96.98 driver version for the graphics card.

  任何支持G80的驱动都支持1400X900的分辨率吧就连现在的泄漏vista驱动都没问题。

现在连vista的都支持了，xp居然会不支持？

我测试过，XP下，用DVI-D数字线，8800GTX显卡可以设置成1440X900，但显示器的OSD里识别是1280X1024，无法调节，由于显卡输出和显示器的分辨率不对应，所以相当模糊。
只有用VGA的D-Sub模拟线连接，显卡1440X900时显示器OSD识别的也是1440X900，显示正常。
大家可能怀疑我的显示器（三星931BW）有问题，但是在使用96.98驱动时，同样使用DVI-D数字线连接没有问题，我的朋友其他品牌19“宽屏显示器也有同样问题。
所有应该是97.28、97.44、97.92新驱动中不支持宽屏1440X900的数字接口驱动，

拙见，请各位指正

  一切N卡都是神卡，楼主的问题都是无稽之谈～
